OpenInvest hosted a company-wide retreat designed to strengthen connection across their fully remote company.
With 120 attendees gathered for three nights of glamping in Zion and one night in Las Vegas, the goal was to create space for authentic relationships, shared adventure, and a sense of “summer camp” that brought joy and camaraderie back to the workplace.
Scope of Work
Venue sourcing and contract negotiation
Event design and swag management in partnership with external designers

Execution Highlights
Built an approachable “glamping” experience for first-time campers
Curated spontaneous and scheduled activities including hiking the Narrows, canyoneering, horseback riding, yoga, painting, and movie nights
Designed an environment that encouraged both unplugging and casual connection
Coordinated group transportation and 24/7 emergency evacuation transportation for entire duration of event
Partnered with an AV company to provide wifi service to entire camp
